Blayze Teicher (she/they) is a director, filmmaker, and creative strategist from Orlando, FL with roots in New York City. Accolades include the 2020-2022 National Directing Fellowship with The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center and the 2021-2022 Directing Fellowship with Clubbed Thumb. They served as the Resident Director of the Off-Broadway immersive hit TRAINSPOTTING LIVE (New York Times Top Immersive Experiences) and as Resident Director of The Parsnip Ship, a podcast series of new plays paired with live music.
As a filmmaker, their work has screened across the country at Framline43 International LGBTQ+ Film Festival, Out on Film, Cinema Diverse, qFlix Philadelphia, and San Antonio QFest, and has been featured on The Huffington Post, NewNowNext, Gayety, Broadway World TV, and Funny or Die. They directed the award-winning comedy series INTERESTED IN, now streaming on Amazon Prime. They Script Supervised and supported director Randy Harrison on NEW YORK IS DEAD, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and won best comedy at New York Television Festival.

They have staged new plays and musicals at venues such as The Signature Theatre, Primary Stages, 54 Below, The Vineyard, BAM, The Duke, Wild Project, The Drama League, HERE Arts, and The Flea, and produced the 50th Anniversary season at NYU Tisch's Strasberg Studio. Blayze has assisted Broadway directors including Schele Williams (ASCAP), Portia Krieger (2ST Uptown, NYMF), Ilana Ransom Toeplitz, Sarna Lapine and received mentorship from commercial producers Jennifer Isaacson, Harriet Leve, and David Garfinkle.
Blayze is a proud member of The Ring of Keys, Brooklyn Directors Workshop, Directors Gathering, an Associate Member of SDC, and a pushover to their rescue dog, Beatrix.
