HOW TO FIELD DRESS AN ANDROID
BY IRENE L. PYNN
Directed by Blayze Teicher
One man struggles with the concept of recreationally hunting androids to save his wife’s life.

The Challenge
Lead experience design for an immersive production exploring the ethics of artificial intelligence - pre-dating the mainstream conversations sparked by Westworld and publicly accessible AI tools.
The Insight
Man vs machine is an extension of man vs himself.
The Directorial Concept
We transformed a Lower East Side dance hall into a surreal hunting paradise, layered with floor-to-ceiling construction netting and a sprawling, mecca-like map of the “island.” The space physically immersed audiences in the story’s world of sport, violence, and moral ambiguity - blurring the lines between entertainment, survival, and ethical consequence.
